RoHS Compliance (2002/95/EC)

New environmental regulations came into force July 2006, under the Directive of "The Restriction of Use of Certain Hazardous Substances (RoHS) in Electrical and Electronic Equipment"

The purpose of this directive is to restrict the usage of hazardous substances in electronic and electrical equipment, thus helping to protect the environment and in conjunction with another directive WEEE (Directive on Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment) to encourage recycling.

Arrowvale Electronics have always been proactive with regards to environmental issues and can offer design and manufacturing services that meet RoHS compliance, including working with customers to convert existing products to RoHS compliance.

RoHS compliant components are largely supply chain driven, with increasing availability of compliant products and increased costs on leaded components as demand drops. Some components have ceased to be available. We will be able to help in over coming obsolesce in existing products and ensure new designs use RoHS compliant products to avoid the need for costly redesign later.

Arrowvale Electronics has the knowledge, resources and ability to provide a one-stop solution partnering you through RoHS compliance. Including flow solder machines in both lead and lead free solder.
